As a Park Ranger, you will be responsible for a diverse range of primary duties. These responsibilities include:
Gate Checking at HRP: Ensuring that all entrance procedures are followed, checking IDs, and providing information to visitors about park policies.
Patrolling Jurisdictions: Conducting regular patrols throughout the park and Jurisdictions to monitor wildlife, check for hazards, and maintain a safe environment for visitors. This involves being vigilant to any changes in the ecosystem or signs of unauthorized activities.
Informing & Helping Visitors: Offering guidance and assistance to park visitors, which includes answering questions, providing maps and information about trails, wildlife, and local regulations, and ensuring that all guests have a safe and enjoyable experience.
These duties work collectively to preserve the environment, enhance visitor experiences, and promote the safety and natural beauty of the park. As a Park Ranger, your role is crucial in maintaining the delicate balance between nature and recreation, ensuring the park remains a treasured place for everyone
